4th of July




Well, well, well. Here it is the 4th of July. Another holiday. Another chance to celebrate. Another chance to have fun and be happy. Or in my case, another chance to be lonely.

Got off early from work yesterday. Last night would have been perfect to go out. I could have stayed up late without fear of getting up early today. But, you have to have friends that want to spend time with you for that. And, I don't. And today, maybe meet friends for lunch or a movie and tonight go out to karaoke. But again, no. My friends have better things to do. Not a total loss however, my sister, bro-in-law, and the kids came over to deliver a desk. My Mom also met us here. So, I spent today cleaning the condo, wrestling a desk upstairs and going out to eat with family. So, I didn't have much time to be lonely today. And, I even had time to fall asleep in my recliner then watch some DVD's after they all left. And, I got some much needed cleaning done.

Lastly, just want to wish you all a happy and safe 4th of July. At least some people get to be happy. Me, I've accepted the fact that I will never be happy. I used to have hope that things would change, but, I've realized it will never happen. So, live and let me die.
