WUZ UP???



Hello everyone. So, how have you all been? I've been.... well, I've been my normal self. I know, sorry I couldn't have done better. OK, let's play catch-up:

I didn't see my Idaho friend when he was in town. In fact, I didn't even get a phone call. Kinda opens the eyes. You find out where you are on the priority list. I did get an apology email from him after he got back to Idaho. And yes, I could defend him here... but, that's his job. If he wants to defend himself, let him post a comment! Hehehe.

I've been going to Ben's Half Yard House pretty consistently and NOTHING! I know, big surprise. OK, I'm not completely stupid. I know when you go fishing and you don't have any bait, you are unlikely to catch anything. Just my luck, totally baitless.

I've been going out on Tuesday nights, either to karaoke at our Tuesday place OR to a new place, McCarty's. It's on 75 at Beltline Rd. It's a pretty cool place. They have a comedy show on Tuesday nights (free to get in). My comedian buddy has been performing there some Tuesdays. And even though I've had high hopes of meeting someone at this new place.... no luck.

I've joined another online dating site. Yep, I know, just throwing my money away. This one is kinda like eHarmony. You do a profile and they match you up with people that have profiles that "go" with yours. They have sent me about 5 profiles that go good with mine. To bad I have no interest in any of them. Location, picture, etc just doesn't do it for me. I've sent a few "icebreakers", but, no response in the least. Again, baitless!

Sunday night


OK, it's been a few days and I'm sure you have all been waiting to see how things went last Tuesday night. Nothing. Zip. Nada. No love connections for me. I don't really have much to report today. I haven't met anyone. I went to the Tom Petty concert on Friday night. It was AWESOME!!! Of course, I went alone. On Saturday night, it was "boy's night". Boomhower, Dano & myself went to J-son's house. Very cool. We played vid games and Texas Hold 'Em all night. It was a really fun evening. And actually, I didn't think of women one single time until J-son's very hot wife got home. O-well. It was a very fun evening. All this week, I haven't hooked up with my Idaho friend not one single time. I haven't even gotten one single phone call from him. Pretty disappointed. I was looking forward to seeing him. O-well, such is life.

Yippie, it is a new month. OK, wait a minute, why is that a good thing? Actually, I guess it isn't really good. Not good, not bad. Work wise, it is kinda bad. A new month means new tax returns due. That is what I do, file Sales & Use and Hotel/Motel Tax Returns. So, new month, new tax returns. I can't complain too much I guess. I keep sticking with it.

No real condo news. I've been unpacking a bit and putting things away a bit. I've actually taken it kinda easy the last few days. And I really needed the down time. I feel alot better this week than weeks past.

Tonight: Got the comedy show tonight. And yep, I'm very hopeful. It is really bugging me lately seeing comedian buddy and his sorta girlfriend together. Don't get me wrong, I'm VERY, VERY happy for them. My buddy seems to be alot happier as of late. But, that is what I need very badly. To find someone so I can be happier. Keep your fingers crossed for tonight.
