Why am I so tired?


OK, last weekend, I did get the cats to the condo. I also had the cable man come out Saturday and hook up my internet. Yippie! Things are moving in the right direction. I also had comedian buddy come over and we brought a truckload of stuff to the condo. He also helped me put together some stuff. I haven't brought any tools to the condo yet (packed away somewhere in Mom's garage). So, comedian buddy brought his tools and helped me out. He is coming back over Thursday night for us to finish. Things are coming along!

Last night he MC'd a show at a bar/restaurant that I had never been to before. It is only about 10 or 15 minutes from the condo, so, that was really nice. There were about 8 comedians and it was a really good show. Comedians sorta other half showed up. She is fun to hang with, but, just reminds me that I don't have that other half. The 3 of us met another couple and chatted with them for awhile (until about 2:30). So, here I was, a thumb again. Very much a flashback to my younger "thumb" days. And, that should answer the question that is this postings title. I got up this morning to my alarm and I was exhuasted. I called in to work and took a half day off and I went back to bed for a couple hours. But, next week, I'm gonna do it again. This Tuesday comedy show is going to be a weekly show. My buddy will probably only do it once or twice a month. You can't have the same comedians showing up every week or the crowd will get burned out on them.

Well, Idaho friend should be coming to town later this week. If I remember correctly, he will be here until Aug 7th (or something like that). I'm really hopeful that we can hook up, at LEAST once or twice during his visit. That last weekend he will be in town, I have the Tom Petty concert on Friday night (Aug 4th). And YES, I still don't have anyone to go with me. On Saturday night, I'm supposed to hook up with 3 other friends (Boomhower, Dano & J-son). We have been planning on getting together since June. Just to shoot the shit, play some vid games and chat. Should be a fun evening. So, my dance card is pretty full for the next few weeks.
